Beth earned her degree in veterinary technology from Becker College in Massachusetts. She worked with Dr. Beckett in the 1980s and 1990s, and then took time off to start a family. Beth returned to Beckett and Associates in September 2013 as a receptionist. She is now one of our supervisors and our “mom”ager. Beth has two black labs, Sherman and Clyde and one cat, Russell. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also likes hiking and biking.
Heather joined our team in December 2013 as a receptionist. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts from Becker College. In addition to being a supervisor and receptionist, Heather is our Social Media & Marketing specialist. Heather has a passion for music, and has become the office DJ. She lives with her husband and their cat Alfie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and painting.
Kireen started with Beckett & Associates in January of 2016. She has her BS degree from SCSU in liberal studies and began her career in the veterinary field September of 2009. With her avid thirst for knowledge and CE she quickly advanced from an assistant and is now part of Beckett’s leadership team. Her favorite aspect of the field is phlebotomy, anesthesiology, and educating clients on how to care for their animals. In her spare time, you will find her snuggling with her cat Niko, hiking, painting, and out and about with friends.
Courtny has been working at Beckett and Associates since the fall of 2007. She has worn (and continues to wear) almost every hat in our hospital: receptionist, kennel assistant, anesthesia tech and large animal assistant. When she is not assisting our Doctors, she is managing our inventory and being one of our team leaders. Courtny loves her multiple roles here at Beckett and Associates she says that every day she learns something new. In her spare time she loves to ride horses, spend time with her 4 fur babies and Fiancé.
Kelley began her employment at Beckett & Associates in October of 2016. She studied Business and Accounting at Goodwin College in East Hartford. Kelley takes care of the business operations behind the scenes but loves the moments she sneaks away from her desk to snuggle and love our precious patients. During the spring and fall seasons you can find Kelley on a softball or baseball field enjoying her time coaching for Glastonbury Little League or watching one of her 4 children play ball. On the rare occasion that she has free time, she loves sitting by the ocean. Kelley is honored to be a part of the Beckett & Associates family and is happy to help you with any questions you may have, if she doesn't know the answer, she will find it for you.
Julie joined our team in the Fall of 2017. She started working in the veterinary field in 2004 while living in Tennessee. You will find Julie at our front desk making sure every patient feels at home; she often gives them cute nicknames. Her true passion is helping rescued pets find their 'furever' home- Julie still assists a rescue group that she worked closely with down in TN. In her spare time Julie enjoys going on adventures with her husband, two children and her black lab 'Sassy Pants.'
Adriana joined the Beckett and Associates team in June 2016. Before coming to us, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Pepperdine University in California. She has a passion for animals, conservation and ecology. Her love for horses was undeniable after a week in the 'horse-lovers' program at Girl Scout camp when she was 7. She grew up with two beloved leopard geckos, Sparky and Lightning. She hopes to adopt her own animals soon, but in the meantime gives all her love and energy to our patients. Adriana loves going to the park, watching movies, hanging out with friends and recently rekindled her love of horseback riding.
Jodie interned with Beckett and Associates the summer of 2015 while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree. After earning her B.S. in Equine studies from the University of New Hampshire, she began her career with us in May of 2016. Although the majority of her college education was in large animal medicine, she has been growing & expanding her knowledge into all aspects of the veterinary field. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her menagerie of animals. This includes her cats Shadow & Seamus, her dog Cherry, her horse Song, her goat A.J. & her chickens.
Kayla graduated University of Rhode Island in 2013 with a Bachelors of Animal Science degree. She’s been with us since January 2016 and is currently enrolled in Veterinary Technician online courses to become a certified Veterinarian Technician. Kayla is also interested in dog physical rehabilitation and works at Wizard of Paws in Colchester. She has been at Wizard of Paws since 2013 and has a passion in alternative pain management for animals. When Kayla is not working you can find her snuggling her rabbit Hazel, or her dog Moose.
Taylor started with us in June 2017. Since then, she has gained so much experience and knowledge about the veterinary field. You can find her assisting in appointments or going out on farm calls with our doctors. In her spare time, Taylor loves to ride her horse Carson and compete in adult hunter shows.
Kate started working at Beckett and Associates in the summer of 2017 after doing an internship for school with our practice. She graduated from Middlesex Community College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in May 2018. Earlier in life she earned a degree from Wesleyan University in cell biology, always having the intention of returning to school to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Three years ago, when an opportunity presented itself, she made a lifelong dream come to fruition. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her animals: two black labs Lilly and Hailee, and a rescue cat Tabitha.
Donna recently joined the Beckett team in June after completing the veterinary assistant course at MCC. She was previously employed in human care as an EMT and patient transport for seven years. She grew up on her grandparent’s farm, happily spending most of her time in the barn doing chores and tending to the animals. In her spare time, you can find Donna with her husband, two Shetland sheepdogs and two cats. She enjoys time with her family, working in her garden and researching family genealogy.
Ruth starting working at Beckett's in the spring of 2015 as an assistant. She sadly only works for us on weekends part-time now as her full-time job is in a research laboratory. She enjoys getting to cuddle patients when she can. Ruth studied social geography at Clark University in Massachusetts, with a concentration in political food systems. In her spare time, you can find Ruth reading, writing, horseback riding, and teaching her cat Baloo to hunt for goldfish.
